Paul M. Hedquist
Chief Executive Officer
My Plan After 50

Paul Hedquist has been CEO of Employee & Family Resources, Inc., (EFR) since 1995, and is the co-creator of My Plan After 50. As a leading-edge Boomer himself, Hedquist recognizes the longer life expectancies of his generation hold forth great opportunities and significant challenges, calling for thoughtful anticipation and planning.

Hedquist is the author of a number of the articles available on the My Plan After 50 website, and he is an accomplished public speaker and small group facilitator.

As CEO, he has created an atmosphere of vision and innovation within EFR. In addition to assisting those preparing for a vibrant life after 50, he helped design programs for multiple-risk minority youth and their families, those on substance abuse treatment wait lists, and a restorative justice program for youth apprehended for underage possession of alcohol and marijuana. Hedquist also oversaw the successful implementation of a statewide public-funded managed substance abuse treatment system.

EFR has been an employee assistance program (EAP) leader for more than 30 years, and this experience permeates the foundation, principles and practices of My Plan After 50.

Hedquist’s belief in the importance of visioning and planning for one’s future is most evident in My Plan After 50.
